A Love Letter to Stewart 40

how can it be real?
people keep asking me...

a dream was being kept alive,
reflecting the most beautiful smile
in my eyes...

because of you...

i hope hours keeps better as we go,
as we continue our journey together...

Today,its only me and you
and no one else takes away my mind
from thinking of us...

Here without you...
Living our lives seperately...

You are there so busy eating piles of papers,
forgetting the reason why you are breathing
and for whom...
Who am I to complain anyway?
I am not as good as what you wanted in a woman,
I need a lot of experience to grow up,
to understand and be understood...

Right from the start im breathing You,
Never minding the killing day
just to let you feel the love i have for you...
Its hard but i have to...
I need to wear my mask in sadness
To hide away the pain...
There are moments that blinded me...
Simple things that women ask
or dream - to make loveful moments last forever
with the man they adore...

You are the most beautiful thing that happened to me,
my love,
enough to paint my world with a smile...

Only if you realize...
I am here that loves you
and needs a liltle of your time
but I know it's too much to ask...

If only you glance at me for a while
then you will begin to understand why...
I'm so madly inlove with you.

A Love Letter to Stewart 39

The wind so gentle
above the silent waters
of Shatin River.

Reflections of the buildings
in different bright colors
sway as the wind blows
but nothing compares
to the pair of eyes i am gazing.

We we're walking slowly,
heart to heart
and you smile at me.

Miles and miles we went,
heading to a place
where paradise is reality
and is ours my love.

We continue to trail
the mysteries of love
as our feet keeps moving
and so our feelings.

A moment to love
So amazing that I,
I am so lost for words
I am with you but
i am dreaming of us

I wonder how am I going to feel
to wake up in your arms,
to your kisses and hugs
and to your smile.

Ah,Love!
Its been a tough journey
for you and me John
but here we are tonight
At last i found you
and you found me.

It wasnt because of the wind
or the moving reflections of the buildings
on the peaceful river
that made me feel like
I've been born again.

It was the tenderness in your voice
that awakens my senses
Your loving kisses
that speaks the weight of your love for me.

Tonight,its only Us
the clock keeps ticking
And the world keeps revolving
But I hear nothing
except the songs of our hearts.

Until we reached the sad place
I hear the call for passengers,
the next train is coming.

I mind not the noise
as the train stops
I care not for the world
All I want is to stare at you.

Here We are
at ten o'clock in the evening
Waving goodbye...

Clouds starts to form
on my eyes
as the door closes and you're gone...

Another six days to wake up
without you by my side...

Until my next day off...

A Love Letter to Stewart 38

A gentle stare cast upon me,
smiling pair of ocean blue,
exceptional,equisite and nobility,
majestic,grandeur and resplendence,
all words became weak,
anemic,
to paint my ever loving Stewart.

A night be full of stars,
once he starts to speak,
soft,gentle,with keeness abound,
has a honey-sweet,lullaby sound,
where Sinatra pales,
all Romeo fails,
to allure my heart like my Stewart.

I would stand not still
just to behold him there
but start to sketch our midnight tale,
caress his heart with my lush flowing hair,
to burn,to reflect in his eyes
such great desire of my slender figure.

He makes me breathe like brand new,
to took my strength from my imperfections.

He makes me a woman of my best,
to wish for my better fruition,

where no tides nor time can pounded on me,
only a scintillating diamonds to be seen above
the breathtaking sizzle of my enthralling world.

All wistful smile pales,
to constantly entrance me like my Stewart.

A Love Letter to John 37

The moment my eyes meet yours

it was dark,so my heart within.

As hours went a light was born

From a bean-sized it has grown

Its radiant rays creep in my veins,

awakening my nerves from a long sleep.

In an early night of February,

I stood there glowing infront of you,

Holding a heart on fire,

bursting passion,stirring up longing

Days,weeks and moths had passed,

the lights glow brighter and brighter.

No longer can I stop the fire from burning.

In this spellbinding experience, one thing is for sure.

John Stewart Sloan,

I Love You.

Echoes of the Rain

How can I disremember thee

and the memories we both shared?

Should I turn and walk away?

Is this the price of the loyalty I had given you?

Our story in a gazette.....
torn by the trifling bankruptcies,
crisis of the mind....

I hope it's not too late-
for i find myself in a hapless situation.

I like grilled squid too
when paired with a bottle of wine.

But none was laid before my eyes.

I reckoned not if I won or lost,
neither you or I had a heart of ice;
both of us shall cry.

Where's the smile in saying goodbye?

I had stood beside you for years
We,as sentinels.....
unveiling the mysteries of lawlessness.

I had tapped your shoulder
without hypocrisy-
As my confidant.

And with a human face,
you gaze at me.
Neither little thrill nor suspense to be found-
Only a heavy eyes;
So cold,unsealed.....

Vulnerable as I am.....
I silently,
louder than my breathing,
screamed my raving mind.

Insensitive as you are.....
You burnt with fierceness
the knot that binds us
to raise yourself a notch higher.....

fragrant bitter tears.....
faint memories of friendship.....
faded.....

and the brisk rains of May showers.....

I won't take the beaten path
laid out in a cobble stone again.

I'll rise.....

A new day-
a beginning of a new life
without you.....

You that wage a war
of unknown odds.....

Where's the smile in saying goodbye?

If only you realized how much you mean to me.....

But.....

You are so 'Mean' to me.....

The Cost of Ill-health in the Philippines

While the moon cast its shadows

of mystery,I imagined
the skyline of a great city lights
and the dark shapes that skulk under,
crouching malevolently
within the territory
of my beloved motherland.

In the looking glass
I glimpsed.....
Reflections of indigents,
taking complete reliance
on herbals of the soil
they toil to cure their illnesses
and sadly oftentimes descent them into graveyard.

Why?.....

Without a centavo
vision of fare treatment past gone.
Most poor patients were untouched
because of their 'empty pocket' looks,
struggling from some apalling hospital crews.

I myself had witnessed few of these scenes;
How they struggled through the hurricane-force wind,
swimming the dangerous and chaotic seas
just for a tablet of paracetamol,
just to get a bed on the crowded ward
just to.....paint faint memories by candlelight.

They passed high foam-tipped waves
to survive the tempestous day.
But most of the time they painfully face
the cruel medical practitioners' ethos
of redundancy and self-sufficiency
that were designed for money, not charity

The Power of Words

All of us experienced

minor damage
as We comfortably duck
in a calm water
of anchorage,

a slight movement of the water -
from the wakening of a powerboat-
is changed into an alarming sways of little waves.

A vile word,
a very simple bad word
can create little waves
that soon became turbulent waves.

How can we survive the voyage?
How can others cross the oceans?
...when on our journey

YOU-
who is one of our inspiration
creates high monster tides?

None of us will ever survive...
yesterday,today and tomorrow,

storms were/are/will be testing the strength of our hulls...
smelling the same shit it brings...

every minute...
that drags us all to 'Thy Kingdom Come'...
