a love note to Stewart 5

Within the wrought iron gates
Lies the weeping big blue marble
Where the wind blows exhaustingly
As if its eyes have seen no more
Single astounding thing left
On this submerging Earth.

Most people forget the geenfields
The beauty that it brings
The breathtaking moment when the birds
Innocently step on the thin branches of the trees,
The morning dews that slowly drop from the leaves
And how the flowers below happily cathes them.

The beautiful pond where fishes and frogs
Create some sad and Aha! moments
Now covered with plastics,rubbers...rubbish.
And the virgin rivers where carabaos and cows
Used to swim after a hard work all day
Now contaminated with crude oils and waste from piggeries.

Buildings replaced the verdant forests
And still people dig deep
Very deep holes around the woeful earth
And laid their brothers and sisters on it
For the sake of power...of money...
Profit.

With all this horrible groans and moans i've heard
From the weeping big blue marble
And the rushing of blood from her warm beating heart
You are the most beautiful thing
You are the reason why
I still want to live
On this ebbing world,my Stewart.
